There's this old man in the cafeteria i talk to, and occasionally he makes this amazing pieces of artwork out of food and just leaves them out. barely any students notice them or think about them, but i make sure i always stop and look at them. it's just one of those small beautiful things in life often overlooked by people.

Julia, by now you realize, I've been blogging through your blog amazed at your pics and insights...it's not often you come across someone willing to take time and admire the not-so-obvious sights we are presented with each moment. (a camera can help zero-in on these things). I gifted myself with a digital camera -end of october 04- and since, I barely go anywhere without it, thousands of pics later, I find this, you site with so many pics and I (almost jealous) don't know how to u/l 'em to my blog. At least, I've been able to, ah, well, blog. Thank you for being here! rob
